I may actually go get the crummy mall version and then feel sick later in my vegan state.

Luckily I haven't crossed into full Robin Vegan territory, so I might not get that sick :-)

YummmmmKatie Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08067504634291164972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19440114.post-90943834277109390892008-09-24T00:20:00.000-07:002008-09-24T00:20:00.000-07:00LizR - That's the beauty of having an author photo...LizR - That's the beauty of having an author photo. Although, sometimes they make me stand sideways and give them a mysterious look before they'll believe me.

Suzanne - Doesn't your newly vegan self just hate me right now! Seriously, those cheesesteaks are SO good.

W.A.W. - That's the library featured in the ghost tour, which, being in the library lovin' biz, was wonderful to see. But no, I never had a pretzel. Guess I'll have to go back!

And Kelly - I should've announced my trip sooner. That would've been great to meet up!

- JayDisco Mermaidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16749764215612594204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19440114.post-1068365854718088662008-09-23T19:17:00.000-07:002008-09-23T19:17:00.000-07:00He looks like a creepy, pasty old guy there. It felt like being home for me. I hope you also managed to get at least one Philly soft pretzel, slathered with mustard. Yum.

And you sure did get your camera in John McCain's face. Ack!

Glad you enjoyed the city. I found the Constitution Center inspiring. And did you know that Philadelphia is home to the first ever lending library, created by Benjamin Franklin?

All best,
DonnaWild About Wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07325527050158095051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19440114.post-67309443578466762112008-09-23T08:46:00.000-07:002008-09-23T08:46:00.000-07:00Wow. Or do you let them know ahead of time that you're coming?

Oh, and that line - a more perfect union - brought to mind for me the 4-H motto: "To make the best better." Random, I know, and I had never made the connection before; but 4-H does have a strong governmental set-up.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Philly!

LizLizRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06842771346052477540noreply@blogger.com
